Through the ongoing ATXFC Artist Initiative, Austin FC engages local artists to create pieces that capture the Verde Spirit – both through murals and game-day posters.

Commissioned muralists incorporate original Austin artwork into our stadium, consumer products, and other efforts to support and bring visibility to Austin’s artist community.

Similarly, the season-long match-day poster series, presented by The Zebra, empowers the local artist community, while bringing awareness to art programming throughout the city, like SAGE Studio, a local studio and gallery for artists with disabilities.

With the 2024 Austin FC season and the ATXFC Artist Initiative coming to an end, Austin FC, The Zebra, official insurance comparison site of Austin FC, and East Austin Studio Tours held a celebration at Dark Horse in East Austin on November 7^th. All 17 matchday posters were on display for guests to view and food and beverages were provided to celebrate all the artists involved in the 2024 season, as well as all artists who have been a part of the Austin FC community thus far.

The Matchday Poster Sweepstakes also ended after the final home match of the season. 20 winners were selected and received all 17 matchday posters for their collection. Thank you to those who entered and congratulations to all the winners!

As part of the ATXFC Artist Initiative, the Club is working alongside SAGE Studio ATX. SAGE Studio ATX is a non-profit art space in east Austin that provides artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities the materials, space, and support to produce, exhibit, and sell their artwork.

All 17 matchday posters were on display for guests to view and food and beverages were provided to celebrate all the Artist Initiative artists from 2023, as well as all artists who have been a part of the Austin FC community thus far.
