Megan Beth Hedgecock
Megan Beth Hedgecock is in her fifteenth year of teaching English Language Arts and Reading in Texas. A graduate of Texas State University, she moved to Central Texas after high school, and she has been here ever since. In addition to her passion for reading and writing, she loves volleyball and soccer, and is a coach for both of these sports, currently at Manor New Technology High School in Manor, Texas.
She was the 2023 Secondary Teacher of the Year for Manor ISD, was recently published in The English Journal, and will be presenting at the NCTE Annual Convention this November. She is an advocate in education, and supporter of student voice.
