Francisco “Curro” Galán

Galán joined the Austin FC coaching staff in December 2024. Before making the move to Austin, he worked for Al-Raed S.FC of the Saudi Professional League, where he spent the 2023/2024 season. Prior to his time with Al-Raed, Galán was Goalkeeper Coach for FC ShakhtarDonetsk, where he coached current Ukrainian National Team and Benfica starting goalkeeper Anatolii Trubin. The team won the Ukrainian Premier League in 2023 and reached the UEFA Europa League knockout rounds with Galán as a member of the coaching staff.
