Aaron Cervantes

Austin FC II announced on January 31, 2024 that the team signed free agent goalkeeper Aaron Cervantes to its MLS NEXT Pro roster. Cervantes joins on a one-year guaranteed contract.

Cervantes, 21, is a California native and product of the LA Galaxy Academy. He signed with Orange County SC in March 2018 at age 15, making him at the time the youngest professional player in club history. Cervantes kept five (5) clean sheets in 17 USL Championship appearances across the 2019 and 2020 seasons before being transferred to Scottish powerhouse Rangers FC. He then re-joined the Galaxy organization with LA Galaxy II in 2023.

A former U.S. youth international, Cervantes made four (4) appearances for the U.S. U-17 Men’s Youth National Team, including representing the program at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
