Austin FC II and MLS NEXT Pro announced today the details for the Club’s 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference Final match. After defeating Tacoma Defiance 1-0 at Starfire Stadium in the Western Conference Semifinal, Austin FC II will face Colorado Rapids 2 at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado on Sunday, October 15 at 8:30 p.m. CT. The match will be available to watch on Apple TV to MLS Season Pass subscribers.
All matches played in the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs are single-elimination matches. Contrary to the regular season, if matches are tied at full time, two 15-minute halves of extra time will be played instead of the match immediately proceeding to penalty kicks.
The winner of the matchup between No. 1 seed Colorado Rapids 2 and No. 4 seed Austin FC II will advance to the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Cup, and face the winner of the Eastern Conference Final. The highest remaining seed will host MLS NEXT Pro Cup on a to-be-announced date.
