The Verde & Black are coming off a 1-0 victory over St. Louis CITY2 on Wednesday night. CJ Fodrey scored for the second consecutive game, while goalkeeper Damian Las made four saves to earn his third straight clean sheet, marking his sixth overall of the season - the best in the league.
In their previous two matches, ATXFC II has taken 36 shots compared to their opponents' 12. Fodrey has been the key player in their last two games, scoring game-deciding goals in the 69th and 75th minutes. Las has also been a crucial component of the team's success, recording six saves in the last two games, bringing his season total to 37 saves, tied for fifth-best in the league. Austin will need to maintain their impressive defensive form as they face a Timbers2 side that appears to have found their form as of late.

On Thursday night in Houston, Timbers2 defeated Dynamo 2 by a scoreline of 2-1. Tega Ikoba scored the equalizer in the 39th minute and Florián Monzón converted his penalty kick in the 70th minute to secure the victory.
On their four-game winning streak, T2 has outscored their opponents 10-4, with four of those goals coming on June 3 against MNUFC2. Monzón leads the team in goals scored with six, all of which have come in his last seven appearances. Portland’s goalkeeper Ryan Bilichuk has recorded 11 saves in the last two matches and is tied with Las with 37 saves this season. T2 brings a 2-4-0 away record to Austin but has won their previous two away contests.
Sunday’s match will be the second match of the week for both teams after both played midweek away contests. The match will also conclude the season series between the two sides.
