Austin FC II announced today that the Club has signed defender Daniel Cieśla to its MLS NEXT Pro roster. Cieśla, 20, joins ATXFC II on a three-year deal through the 2027 MLS NEXT Pro season with an option for 2028.
Born in Chicago, Cieśla is a citizen of both the United States and Poland. He played at the academy and second team levels for Polish club Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza and went on loan to KS Wiazownica for the 2023-2024 season.
Cieśla returned to Nieciecza at the start of the current season and broke through with the club’s first team, which is currently in first place in the BetClic 1 Liga (Polish second division). He scored on his debut in a 3-0 win over Odra Opole.
