The 4ATX Foundation and Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA) are partnering up for the 2022-23 youth soccer season, the third-consecutive year the organizations will work together for an annual Club Scholarship Program.
With CAYSA, a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting soccer for young people and their communities across Central Texas, the 4ATX Foundation is now accepting applicants for the scholarship program, which provides the opportunity for local CAYSA Junior Academy program young players to join a local team.
“After seeing the initial success of our partnership with CAYSA, we’re excited to work with them once again this year,” said 4ATX Foundation Executive Director Kaitlin Mauro. “This scholarship program plays a key role in ensuring that young athletes in our community have access to the sport of soccer, regardless of their socioeconomic background.”
Parents or guardians of young players wishing to apply for the Club Scholarship program can do so via this link (English) (En español). Completed applications can be emailed to admin@caysa.org. The deadline to submit applications is Sept. 5.
4ATX Foundation will provide multiple full and partial scholarships to CAYSA Club Scholarship recipients for the 2022-2023 season, focusing on youth players from underserved backgrounds.
"CAYSA is excited about the opportunity to see our member clubs benefit from the generosity of the 4ATX Foundation and Austin FC," said CAYSA President David Buckler. "We are thankful for the relationship, and we look forward to continue this partnership for a third year.”
CAYSA has been serving the greater-Austin metropolitan area since 1979. CAYSA is a member association of South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) and a part of US Youth Soccer. CAYSA serves approximately 14,000 youth players annually through recreational and competitive programs.
