U.S. Soccer announced this week that Austin FC Academy midfielder Ervin Torres was called up to the U.S. U-15 Men’s Youth National Team camp from February 21-28 at Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Torres, along with 35 other players, make up the first U.S. U-15 MYNT roster under new Head Coach Tom Heinneman.
“We’re thrilled for Ervin that he has earned his first call-up to a U.S. youth national team camp,” said Austin FC Academy General Manager Tyson Wahl. “We know he will represent the Club well in California and wish him the best of luck in this incredible experience.”
Torres, a Texas native, is the second Austin FC Academy player to be called in to a U.S. youth national team training camp following U-17 midfielder Micah Burton.
