Cameron Sauro joined Austin FC II as the team's goalkeeper coach ahead of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season. He spent the previous three seasons at Inter Miami CF, most recently serving as Lead Academy Goalkeeper Coach.
His coaching career also includes stints at the collegiate level with Florida International University, East Tennessee State University, and Southwest Minnesota State University.
Before transitioning to the coaching ranks, Sauro played collegiately at King University where he was a four-year standout from 2012-2016 and a team captain for his final two seasons. Sauro was a two-time academic all-conference selection and held a 1.72 GAA with 74 saves in 27 career games with the Tornado. He is originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
