20,738 packed Q2 Stadium for Austin FC’s Inaugural Home Opener. They all bought tickets for the first-ever major league sporting event in Austin, but before that got under way, they were treated to a little something special from Austin FC Supporters.
The supporters’ first tifo at Q2 Stadium did not disappoint. As the massive tifo unfurled, fans watching live and in-person were quickly introduced to a crew of Austin legends. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Matthew Mcconaughey, Raul Salinas, Barbara Jordan, Leslie Cochran and Willie Nelson headlined the tifo filled with winks and nods to the newest city in MLS.
