Austin FC midfielder Ethan Finlay and goalkeeper Brad Stuver were named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 19 of the regular season following their performances in Austin’s 3-0 win over Atlanta United FC on Saturday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Stuver has now earned four (4) Team of the Week selections this season, and Finlay has earned two (2).
For the second-consecutive match, Finlay recorded a goal and an assist, setting up Felipe for Austin’s first goal in the 9th minute and scoring the team’s second himself in the 17th minute. The MLS veteran now has four (4) goals and four (4) assists on the season, and is one (1) goal contribution away from reaching 100 career goal contributions in MLS.
Stuver made four (4) saves and kept a clean sheet against Atlanta, his sixth of 2022. His win percentage of 64.7 is second-best in MLS among goalkeepers with at least 10 starts, and his 52 saves rank 10th-most in the league.
