Based in Mexico City at the famous Estadio Azteca, América has won more titles than any other team in Mexican soccer, with a record 13 league titles, six (6) Copa MX titles, and six (6) Campeón de Campeones cups. América’s 10 FIFA recognized club trophies are the most of any club in the Concacaf region, with a record seven (7) Concacaf Champions Cup/Champions League titles, two (2) Copa Interamericana titles, and one (1) Concacaf Giants Cup.

Monterrey defeated Club América in last year’s Concacaf Champions League Final, and is currently competing at the FIFA Club World Cup as a result. Nicknamed Rayados, the club became the second Mexican team to achieve a continental treble when it won the Concacaf Champions League and Liga MX Apertura titles in 2019 and Copa MX in 2020. In total, Monterrey has won five (5) Mexican league titles, five (5) Concacaf Champions League titles, and three (3) Copa MX titles.
