Austin FC II announced today the schedule for the team’s 2025 preseason, in preparation for its third year competing in MLS NEXT Pro. The team’s preseason began on Monday, January 20, and some players previously signed to MLS NEXT Pro contracts with Austin FC II reported to St. David’s Performance Center on Saturday, January 11.
Austin FC II will play seven (7) preseason matches ahead of its 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season, hosting six (6) of them. The first will be against San Antonio City Soccer Club on Saturday, January 25.
Austin FC II will then host Houston Christian University on Saturday, February 1, University of the Incarnate Word on Saturday, February 8, Huntsville City FC on Saturday, February 15, an opponent TBA on Wednesday, February 19, and Texoma FC on March 1. The team will travel to Houston on Saturday, February 22 to face Houston Dynamo 2.
All Austin FC II preseason matches will be closed to the public. More information about the team’s 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

Additional Austin FC II player signings, including any potential Austin FC first team players joining Austin FC II on loan or Austin FC Academy players signing amateur agreements with Austin FC II, will be announced in the buildup to the first match of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season.
