Austin FC II announced today that the Club has signed forward Vlad Dǎnciuțiu to its MLS NEXT Pro roster. Dǎnciuțiu, 18, joins ATXFC II on a two-year deal through the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season with an option for 2027.
A dual citizen of the United States and Romania, Dǎnciuțiu is a Romanian youth international and has made eight (8) appearances to date for the Romania U-19 national team. He has played on youth teams for various clubs in Germany and Italy, including TSV 1860 München, Sassuolo, and most recently the U-20 side for Serie A club Udinese.
Dǎnciuțiu formerly resided in Elmhurst, Illinois and previously played for MLS NEXT club Sockers FC Chicago as well as Laurel Springs High School.
