Austin FC II announced today that the Club has reached an agreement with Bray Wanderers to acquire forward Peter Grogan via free transfer. Grogan, 19, joins the Austin FC II roster on a deal guaranteed through the end of the 2026 season with an option for 2027 and 2028, pending league and federation approval.
Grogan is a native of County Laois, Ireland. He spent portions of his youth career with CK United Academy and Bohemians before joining League of Ireland First Division side Bray Wanderers in January 2024 where he broke through at the senior level.
Grogan made an immediate impact with Bray Wanderers, tallying seven (7) goals and three (3) assists in just 976 league minutes played across 19 matches this season. From April 5 to May 3, Grogan scored in five (5) consecutive games.
Grogan will be eligible to compete for Austin FC II upon receipt of his P-1 visa.
