U.S. Soccer today announced the list of players invited to the upcoming U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team training camp, with Austin FC II midfielder Ervin Torres named to the squad.
Torres will join the U.S. U-19 MYNT for the training camp in Valencia, Spain, where the team will play matches against the U-19 national teams from Sweden and Japan. The 16-year-old midfielder has made 23 MLS NEXT Pro appearances for ATXFC II this season, 22 of them starts, and contributed three (3) goals and one (1) assist.
This is Torres’ first international call-up at the U-19 level. He previously represented the U.S. U-16 at the 2023 International Dream Cup in Fukushima, Japan where he made two (2) appearances including playing all 90 minutes in the team's 2-1 victory against Japan U-16.
