Austin FC II is set to play its second road match of the 2024 season this Saturday night, when the team travels west to face The Town FC at PayPal Park in San Jose, California. The match is set to kick off at 9 p.m. CT/7 p.m. PT and is available to watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

ATXFC II won its last road outing 1-0 over Houston Dynamo 2, courtesy of a goal from CJ Fodrey. Dating back through last year’s MLS NEXT Pro playoffs, Head Coach Brett Uttley’s side has won its last five away games in a row.
The team also defeated The Town FC away last year, as Sébastien Pineau’s brace powered them to a 2-0 victory.
A victory could lift the Verde & Black as high as ninth in the Western Conference, albeit the team will still have played one or two less games than just about every other team at this early stage of the season.
The Town FC Outlook
The San Jose Earthquakes organization recently rebranded its second team as The Town FC, and the team is off to a decent start to its 2024 campaign. With two wins, one draw, and one loss through its opening four games, TTFC finds itself in seventh place in the West.
None of those opening four games have been at home though, as the team prepares for its first game at PayPal Park of the season. In 2023, TTFC ranked near the bottom of the conference with only three home wins, but playing in the MLS venue of their parent club may change that.
In the goal-scoring department, Aaron Edwards and Riley Lynch lead the way with two each.
