Austin FC II answered with a goal of their own, seeing midfielder Valentin Noël score the Club’s first-ever goal, off forward David Rodríguez’s assist in the 64th-minute. Noël found the back of the net again in the 84th-minute, putting home a rebound from his teammate’s shot. Goalkeeper Damian Las made a last-minute save in stoppage time, blocking a late effort by Dynamo forward Ezekiel Soto to preserve the win.
