As part of a shared mission to provide opportunities for underserved schools and Central Texas youth, Austin FC’s nonprofit arm 4ATX Foundation and the Club’s founding partner St. David’s HealthCare will once again offer Clinics 4ATX in 2025, a program which provides free soccer clinics to students ages 7-11. Children will have the chance to learn soccer and leadership skills, meet Austin FC players, and leave with their very own soccer ball. This will be the program’s fifth year providing clinics.
“We’re excited to kick off another year of free soccer clinics with St. David’s,” said 4ATX Executive Director Kaitlin Mauro. “This partnership continues to exemplify how authentic collaboration can bring powerful change to communities.”
As part of the organizations’ efforts to build relationships with local organizations in need of programming services, 4ATX will provide six (6) free clinics throughout the 2025 Austin FC season, serving over 700 local youth. This year, 4ATX Foundation and St. David's HealthCare will collaborate with local Title 1 schools and community organizations to ensure underserved youth across Central Texas can attend the clinics and access the game of soccer. Since 2019, the clinic partnership has provided over 3,000 Central Texas youth with a once-in-a-lifetime experience to ignite their passion for the game.
Spring clinics will be held at Parmer Field, and various sites throughout the greater Austin area. The first clinic kicked off the series on March 24th, for healthcare and first responder families.
“At St. David’s HealthCare, we know that active kids grow into healthier adults. Regular physical activity supports cardiovascular health, improves mental well-being, and builds lifelong habits that contribute to overall wellness," said Denise Bradley, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at St. David's HealthCare. "We’re proud to partner with Austin FC and 4ATX Foundation to provide free soccer clinics that give young athletes the opportunity to move, play and develop a love of the game in a welcoming environment. Through this partnership, we’re not only expanding access to the sport, but also investing in the long-term health of Central Texas youth”
