The Austin FC Academy U-15 squad brought home the title at the Easter International Cup over the weekend in Orlando, Florida. The U-13 and U-14 teams also took on top competition from across the country and showed their growth with a series of hard-fought matches and standout results.
U-15s Win Easter International Cup Title
The U-15s went unbeaten across five matches to claim the tournament title. After opening with a 1-1 draw against GFI, they earned a 1-0 win over North Carolina FC and a 2-2 draw with Orlando City. The team followed that with a 2-0 victory against New England Revolution before closing the tournament with a 1-0 win over Orlando City in the final.
U-14s Secure Silver Final Victory in Penalties
The U-14s had a strong run in Orlando, beginning with a 3-0 win vs GFI and a 2-1 win over Concorde Fire. A 0-0 draw with Orlando City followed, before the squad earned a 1-1 result in the Silver Final vs Michigan Wolves, ultimately winning on penalties to secure the trophy.
U-13s Gain Valuable Experience in Orlando
The U-13s faced a competitive slate of matches, opening with a 0-5 result against GFI. The team responded with a strong defensive effort in a 0-0 draw vs Atlanta United and continued to build through a 1-3 match against Orlando City. They closed out the tournament with a 1-1 draw against IFA Intercontinental, showing continued growth and resilience throughout the week.
