Austin FC today announced the Club’s radio partners and talent for the 2023 season. As in 2022, all 34 of Austin FC’s 2023 MLS regular season matches will feature live local radio broadcasts on iHeartRadio’s Alt 97.5 in English and Univision’s TUDN Radio Austin (104.3-HD2, KLQB-FM) in Spanish.
Lincoln Rose will once again serve as the Club’s English language radio play-by-play announcer. Rose has 27 years of broadcasting experience and 12 years of experience calling soccer matches. He called Austin FC matches during the Club’s first two seasons in 2021 and 2022.
On Spanish language radio, Roger Valdivieso returns as the Club’s Play-by-Play announcer. Valdivieso, who has over 25 years of broadcasting experience in both English and Spanish, called Austin FC matches in Spanish for both television and radio throughout the Club’s first two seasons.
“We’re proud to continue working with our radio partners, iHeartRadio and Univision, both of whom have played a key role in helping to grow Austin FC since our very first match,” said Austin FC President Andy Loughnane. “We are also proud to continue working with Lincoln and Roger, who have been integral to our fans’ broadcast experience throughout the Club’s young history.”
