‘Y’all Means All’ will be on full display this weekend.
On Sunday, June 27, Austin FC will host their Inaugural Pride Night as they take on Columbus Crew. The match kicks off at 7 p.m. CT, live on KBVO. It is an opportunity to celebrate the fact that Austin FC is for everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation or background – just like Austin itself.
“While Austin FC strives to be strong allies to our LGBTQIA+ community throughout the entire year, we are honored to help celebrate National Pride Month by hosting our Club’s first Pride Night at our second home match on June 27,” said Austin FC President Andy Loughnane.”
Many members of Austin’s LGBTQIA+ community are planning to attend Sunday’s match. One of them, award-winning Austin musician Gina Chavez, will sing the National Anthem before kickoff. Also ahead of the match, Tina Cannon, Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, will be the honorary Heartbeat of Austin chant leader. In addition, Austin FC will host the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Lexus will host 50 LGBTQIA+ community members.

“As the battle for true equality continues, organizations intentionally standing with the LGBT community is critical. Austin FC has been a strong partner from the beginning, making the LGBT community a part of their many roots in Austin, “ said Cannon.
Matchday elements such as corner flags and video board graphics will reflect the Pride theme, and when the players take the field for warm-ups on Sunday night, they will be sporting “Love Unites” adidas training tops. That limited-edition jersey and other Austin FC Pride apparel will be available for purchase at the Verde Store. The collection includes a commemorative Pride Patch, for which twenty percent of proceeds will benefit the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce’s Education Fund, a 501c(3) organization that awards scholarships to LGBTQIA+ and allied students who exhibit leadership potential, strong academic abilities and involvement in school and community organizations.
Also in support of the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, a limited number of player-worn “Love Unites” training tops will be auctioned online starting at midnight after the match. At the Verde Store, patrons will have the option to round-up their transactions as a small donation to this important community group.
Additional Austin FC programming will align with Austin Pride week in August, with details to be announced at a later date.
Tickets for the June 27 match are sold out, but some are available for purchase via resale on SeatGeek here.
