Austin FC goalkeeper Brad Stuver was named to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday for his performance in Austin’s 1-1 away draw with Inter Miami CF on Saturday night at DRV PNK Stadium. Stuver earns his fourth Team of the Matchday selection of the 2023 season, leading all Austin FC players.
Stuver made seven (7) saves against Miami, tied for his most in a single match so far this year. Just before halftime, he stood strong in a one-on-one situation against Miami striker Josef MartÃnez, denying the Venezuelan with an excellent kick-save to keep the score level.
Stuver ranks third in MLS with 73 saves this season. In his last three (3) appearances, he has allowed only one (1) goal from 14 shots on target faced, keeping two (2) clean sheets in that span.
