Austin FC II earned a thrilling 4-3 win over Colorado Rapids 2 on Friday night at Parmer Field at St. David's Performance Center, scoring twice in second half stoppage time to turn defeat into victory.

Colorado took an early lead but Austin quickly flipped the script thanks to a pair of goals by CJ Fodrey in the 24th and 32nd minutes. Fodrey now has four goals in his last three matches, with Jimmy Farkarlun assisting all four of those goals.

On the other side of halftime, Rapids 2 restored parity in the 53rd minute and appeared to have won the game when Marlon Vargas converted an 87th minute penalty kick. ATXFC II had other ideas though.

Sébastien Pineau, who entered the match as a 73rd minute substitute, headed in a pass from Fodrey to equalize in the 90th minute. Pineau then netted the winner on an assist from fellow substitute Diego Abarca in the final minute of added time, sealing a crucial three points for Austin in their push for the playoffs.
