The Frost Bank Financial Literacy Academy is dedicated to empowering students in Austin with the knowledge they need to make good financial decisions. Through this platform, Frost Bank employees lead financial education lessons across Texas, covering a wide range of topics—from basic banking to credit management and lending. On September 16th, the Q2 VYLA Cohort participated in a financial literacy session at Q2 Stadium, where they learned key financial skills such as writing checks and opening savings accounts.

On October 16th, Frost Bankers led a financial literacy lesson for students from Huston-Tillotson University, focusing on credit scores and strategies for building strong credit. Austin FC players Brendan Hines-Ike and Gyasi Zardes also joined the session to discuss how their financial decisions have evolved since starting families.

Frost Bank and Austin FC met at Northeast International High School on December 4th for the final Financial Literacy Class of 2024. Students got to learn from Frost Bankers about different financial skills and were able to hear from Austin FC players, Jon Gallagher, and Dani Pereira, about their own financial journeys.
