U.S. Soccer has invited a select group of players to participate in the U.S. Soccer Boys U-14 National ID Camp, a list which includes Austin FC Academy players Clayton Glynn and Roberto Monarres. The camp will take place from May 25-30 in Chula Vista, California.
Glynn, who plays primarly as a center back, is originally from Urbandale, Iowa and joined the Austin FC Academy full-time in January 2024 after competing as a part-time player in fall 2023. San Antonio native Monarres is a winger who joined the Austin FC Academy in fall 2023. Both players have previously been called into U.S. Youth National Team South Region ID Camps.
