Austin FC announced on Thursday the full 34-match schedule for its 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season. Austin will kick off its fifth season with its home opener presented by Q2 on Saturday, February 22 at 7:30 p.m. CT against Sporting Kansas City. Austin FC’s first road match of 2025 will see the Verde & Black take on Portland Timbers on Saturday, March 1 at Providence Park.
2025 Opponents
Austin FC’s schedule will feature 28 total matches against its 14 fellow Western Conference clubs: one (1) home and one (1) away match against every other Western Conference team. The 2025 MLS regular season will conclude on Decision Day, October 18, when Austin will face San Jose Earthquakes at PayPal Park. More details on the 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs will be announced at a later date.
Austin FC will play six (6) inter-conference matches against Eastern Conference opponents in 2025, three (3) at home and three (3) on the road. The Verde & Black will host Atlanta United FC, New York Red Bulls, and New England Revolution, while traveling to face FC Cincinnati, D.C. United, and CF Montréal. Atlanta and New England will each visit Q2 Stadium for the first time, while ATXFC’s trip to Cincinnati on May 10 will mark the first time the Verde & Black have traveled to TQL Stadium.
The Club’s 2025 MLS regular season schedule features: three (3) Wednesday matches, 28 Saturday matches, and three (3) Sunday matches.
2025 MLS All-Star Game in Austin
Austin FC will host the 2025 MLS All-Star Game at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, July 23 (MLS Season Pass on Apple TV). The MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22. Additional details on the 2025 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T and the opponent for the 2025 MLS All-Star Game will be announced at a later date.

Four (4) Austin FC regular season matches in 2025 will also feature national television broadcasts on FOX: an away match vs. LAFC on Saturday, March 15, an away match vs. St. Louis City SC on Sunday, March 30, a home match vs. Portland Timbers on Saturday, April 5, and a home match vs. defending MLS Cup Champions, LA Galaxy, on Saturday, April 19.
