Austin FC announced today five (5) additional members of the Club’s technical staff ahead of the 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.
Nico Bosch joins Austin FC as an Assistant Coach and the fifth member of Head Coach Nico Estévez’s coaching staff. Bosch brings 15 years of experience coaching in his native Spain. He held assistant coach roles across the Spanish first and second divisions at Villarreal, Levante, Granada, and most recently Cádiz. Bosch has specialized as a goalkeeper coach, set piece coach, and defensive situations coach.
Miguel Villagrasa joins Austin FC as the Club’s High Performance Director with 25 years of experience working as a high performance and fitness coach in both Spain and the United States. He had stints with the first team staffs at LaLiga teams Valencia CF and Celta de Vigo, worked as head of performance at FC Dallas from 2022 to 2024, and spent the last five (5) months with FC Barcelona.
Erik Roqueta joins Austin FC as Strength & Conditioning Coach. He arrives from Liga MX side Puebla where he was the team’s head strength and conditioning coach since 2022. He worked with FC Barcelona from 2014 to 2019, Chivas de Guadalajara from 2019 to 2021, and Bayer Leverkusen’s U-19 team from 2021 to 2022.
Leslie MacManus, the Club’s new Performance Dietitian, has previously held sports nutrionist and dietitian roles with Inter Miami CF, Florida International University, and the Baltimore Orioles organization.
Erin Ross, the Club’s new Performance Scientist, has previously held sports and performance science roles with the New York Mets and New York Yankees organizations, as well as with the University of Michigan Performance Research Lab.
