Austin FC today announced a partnership with We Are Blood, a nonprofit blood center serving Central Texas and the exclusive provider of our community’s blood supply. Since 1951, We Are Blood has drawn Central Texans together and inspired individuals to make a lifesaving difference for neighbors in need.
The partnership will feature two blood drives hosted at Q2 Stadium throughout the 2024 season.
“We look forward to building on our preexisting relationship with We Are Blood to host two blood drives at Q2 Stadium,” said Austin FC President Andy Loughnane. “We’re proud to support We Are Blood and the lifesaving work they do for our community.”
We Are Blood collects blood donations and serves over 50 hospitals and medical facilities in our 10-county area. Their mission: to provide and protect the community blood supply, to inspire Central Texans to save lives locally, and to always treat everyone they serve like family.
