Austin FC has reached an agreement to extend its partnership with St. David’s HealthCare for another 10 years. St. David’s HealthCare has been a founding partner of Austin FC since 2019, when it became the Club’s official healthcare partner.
“As the original founding partner of Austin FC, St. David’s HealthCare has been an exceptional partner since the foundation of this Club,” said Austin FC President Andy Loughnane. “We are exceptionally proud and honored to extend our partnership together for the next decade and we are grateful for everything St. David’s HealthCare has done to help establish and support Austin FC.”
St. David’s HealthCare retains the naming rights to St. David’s Performance Center, a 23-acre complex in North Austin which opened in April 2021 and serves as the training home for Austin FC, Austin FC II, and the Austin FC Academy.
The world-class facility features four (4) pitches and a single-story, 30,000-square-foot building that houses Austin FC players, soccer operations and technical staff, as well as training and medical technologies, including advanced cardio and physio equipment, recovery rooms, water therapy and cryogenics. St. David’s HealthCare provides medical care for all Austin FC and Austin FC II players.
St. David’s HealthCare is the presenting partner of 4ATX Foundation’s annual “A Night in Verde” Gala. In 2024, the gala raised $1,058,000 in support of 4ATX Foundation’s mission to use the power of soccer to help communities thrive socially, emotionally and physically.
“Since its inception, this collaboration has exemplified our shared dedication to excellence, innovation, and community impact,” David Huffstutler, president and chief executive officer of St. David’s HealthCare, said. “St. David’s HealthCare remains committed to providing high-quality care to Austin FC players, ensuring they are performing at optimal levels, as well as supporting programs that improve the health and wellness of the Central Texas community. We look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the years to come."
