Austin FC II fell in a 4-0 loss to Real Monarchs on Sunday at America First Field. Academy product Gavin Wolff made his first appearance for Austin FC II as a starter, playing the full 90 minutes.
Real Monarchs open the score in the 22nd minute with a shot by Matthew Bell. Fourteen minutes later Fidel Barajas found the back of the net to give the home team their second goal just before half time.
After halftime, Real Monarch’s found their third and fourth goal of the afternoon with shots from Darón Iskenderian in the 57th minute and Matthew Bell in the 69th minute, his second of the match.
