Austin FC goalkeeper Brad Stuver was selected to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday bench following the team’s 0-0 away draw vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday night at BC Place. Stuver earns his second Team of the Matchday honor of 2024.
Stuver made seven (7) saves in keeping a third consecutive clean sheet. His performance helped Austin earn a point in the Pacific Northwest, anchoring a team defense which has not conceded a goal in its last 303 minutes of MLS play. Stuver currently boasts a save percentage of 83.13 and leads all MLS goalkeepers with 58 saves.
The shutout in Vancouver was Stuver’s and Austin FC’s fourth of the season and third on the road. No other MLS team has kept three (3) away clean sheets thus far this season.
