Austin FC played to a 1-1 draw against St. Louis City SC on Saturday afternoon in a preseason match at the Coachella Valley Invitational.
After a first half in which Austin created more chances but couldn’t find the net, it took the Verde & Black just 30 seconds to score from the start of the second half. Owen Wolff beat his man to the byline and cut the ball back to an open Jáder Obrian who finished from close range.
St. Louis leveled late in the game through Tomas Totland. Austin concludes its time in California on Wednesday, February 12 with a closed-door preseason match vs. Charlotte FC.
