Austin FC goalkeeper Brad Stuver was voted to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday bench for his role in the team’s 1-1 away draw with Los Angeles FC on Wednesday night at BMO Stadium. Stuver earns his fourth Team of the Matchday honor of 2024.
Stuver made five (5) saves in total, highlighted by a full-stretch dive to his left to keep out a strike from LAFC’s Olivier Giroud in the 25th minute. He leads all MLS goalkeepers with 119 saves this season and recently surpassed 500 career saves.
