On Saturday, May 20, 4ATX Foundation will host the Foundation’s theme night as Austin FC faces off against Toronto FC at 7:30 p.m. CT at Q2 Stadium.
Before, during and after the match, Austin FC will highlight the work being done by the Club’s non-profit arm in support of the Foundation’s mission to use the power of soccer to help Central Texas communities thrive socially, emotionally, and physically. The match will mark 4ATX Foundation’s third annual theme night.
“We are thrilled to have the platform of an Austin FC home match to celebrate 4ATX Foundation,” said 4ATX Foundation Executive Director Kaitlin Mauro. “More importantly, the theme night gives us the chance to shine a light on our fellow members of the Central Texas community who might be in need.”
The first 10,000 fans at Saturday’s match will receive a special keychain lanyard giveaway courtesy of SeatGeek. A special addition to the night will be a t-shirt designed in collaboration with participants of the Foundation’s Verde Leaders program at Bedichek Middle School. The t-shirt will be featured in the Verde Store as the official Merch of the Match. A portion of net proceeds for every shirt purchased will benefit 4ATX Foundation. During the match, artwork drawn by kids in 4ATX Foundation’s Verde Leaders program will be featured on Q2 Stadium’s big screen. In the weeks leading up to the match, middle school students across Verde Leaders sites drew their favorite Austin FC player for the initiative.
150 young people who have been involved in 4ATX Foundation programming will have the opportunity to enjoy the match at no cost, courtesy of Covert Auto, Chevron, FVF Law, and Talroo.
There are several ways to support 4ATX Foundation’s mission throughout the night.
