For the 4th year, 4ATX has partnered with Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA) to offer club soccer scholarships to local young players. This year, scholarships are available to a wide range of players from U7 – U19 in Academy, D2, and D3 levels – specifically focusing on young people facing socio-economic barriers.
During the first three years of the CAYSA Junior Scholarship program, 4ATX Foundation invested over $130,000 in youth club scholarships. 25 young players were awarded scholarships in 2022-2023, bringing the all-time total of scholarships awarded to 155.
“We’re looking forward to this continued effort between 4ATX and CAYSA,” said 4ATX Foundation Executive Director Kaitlin Mauro. “These scholarships are helping eliminate critical barriers for families while ensuring more young people are playing the game in Central Texas.”
With CAYSA, a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting soccer for young people and their communities across Central Texas, 4ATX Foundation is now accepting applicants for the 2023-2024 scholarship program, which provides the opportunity for local CAYSA Junior Academy program young players to join a local team.
Parents or guardians of young players wishing to apply for the Club Scholarship program can do so via this link (English) (En español). Completed applications can be emailed to admin@caysa.org. The deadline to submit applications is Sept. 15.
