Austin FC officially dropped “The Heartbeat Kit”, the club’s new primary jersey for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The Club’s new look celebrates Austin FC’s vibrant fan culture and is inspired by The Heartbeat of Austin ritual performed by supporters before each home match at Q2 Stadium – helping to make Q2 Stadium the best party in Austin. Introducing “The Heartbeat Kit” is Austin FC Minister of Culture Matthew McConaughey who headlines jersey launch video alongside fellow Austin legends like Gary Clark Jr., Jimmy Vaughn, Ray Benson, Austin FC Supporter Groups, and a host of past heartbeat ritual participants.
“We’ve worked hard to create a Club that authentically represents our home, Austin, Texas,” said Austin FC Minister of Culture, Matthew McConaughey. “Now in our fifth season, our new jersey pays homage to all of the things that make our city and Club special, and the things that make Q2 Stadium the best damn party in town.”
BEHIND THE KIT
The Heartbeat Kit features a unique take on the traditional Austin FC colors putting VERDE front and center and paying homage to the Club’s vibrant community and culture. On the front of the jersey sits Austin FC’s primary crest, set against a striped VERDE base. The heart on the jocktag is inspired by supporters and shines bright at the center of the bombo – the drum struck at the start of every home match. The back neck includes the call and response heard throughout Q2 Stadium on a match-day. No matter what section you sit in, with one voice, it is: ¡VERDE! ¡LISTOS!
Returning on the front of the jersey is legendary Austin-based premium outdoor brand YETI, while Austin-based Mexican-American food brand Siete Foods is emblazoned on the right sleeve for the first time. Apple TV will continue to share the left sleeve alongside the MLS crest.
