Austin FC midfielder Owen Wolff was voted to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Matchday for his role in the team’s 2-1 home win over San Diego FC on Sunday at Q2 Stadium. Wolff earns his first Team of the Matchday honor of 2025.
Wolff played the full 90 minutes of the victory. He picked up his third match-winning assist of the season in the 19th minute, thinking quickly to take a free kick before the SDFC defense could get set and playing Jon Gallagher in behind for Austin’s second goal. In addition, Wolff led all players with three (3) big chances created and three (3) successful tackles.
